It’s hard to find a truly good guacamole recipe. After many failed attempts, I finally found one that I will stick with. However, you will see that I cheated a little bit by using canned salsa as part of the ingredients. That is also why the guacamole does not appear very green.

I hope you enjoy!

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 1/4 cup onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 roma tomato (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp cilantro (chopped)
  • 2 large spoonfuls of salsa (I use Tostitos Medium Chunky Salsa)
  • pinch chili powder

Mash avocados in a bowl. Add all the ingredients and mix. Top with sprig of fresh cilantro. Serve with chips or use in other recipes.
